It has been announced that Super Model Janice Dickerson will marry Dr. Robert Gerner.  Dr. Gerner is a Los Angeles based Psychologist and given her history of erratic behavior, I think that is is a match made in heaven. 

Janice Dickerson will be the first one to point out that she was the First Super Model, however, many might disagree like Dorian Leigh, and the family of the late Gia Carangi who lost everything to Heroin addiction.  A survivor she is, and she has become an Agent and Author and for all it is worth she has remained active.

Does a Super Model ever really know if a man is marrying them for their inner beauty, or what the industry perceives as what is considered ultimtely beautiful?  Does all of the smoke and mirrors make these beautiful women any less vunerable, after all they are real women, not coat hangers.  They know their imperfections and torture themselves more than the  average woman because the industry is cruel and unforgiving of age.  

In my opinion Tyra Banks is the First Super Super Model, she has it all, has done it all and managed to keep her dignity in the process.  I felt that Twiggy was somewhat responsible for the dangerously thin turn the industry took and not by choice, but she sort of changed the standard and started the coat hanger look.
